In this day and age of communications, it’s easy to end up running so many different messaging clients on your computer that you can barely keep track of which window does what. Luckily, there are often ways of consolidating the functionality of these standalone clients into much less clutter-prone solutions.

This mashup is not a replacement for your Twitter client by any means, but you if use Skype as a messenger a lot, it may be a convenient way to quickly update or receive Twitter messages, without having to fish through your pile of open windows. So here goes:
- Add twitter4skype as a contact in your Skype account
- Send this chat message to twitter4skype:
/account (shift+return)
yourTwitterName (shift+return)
yourTwitterPassowrd (shift+return) - Then your should receive a reply saying that your registration is complete
That’s it! The next time you send a tweet from Skype, it should be forwarded to your Twitter account, and you should receive messages.
